Your Personal Stories

Here at A Gathering of Men we value the personal stories of men who have come through with a bit of courage and humility to a greater understanding of their lives and themselves.

Obviously, we cannot provide legal protection for anyone; so confession of crimes or accusations or slander of others we cannot accept. And content here is subject to all the legal requirements of publication.

Yet what you submit we hold in strict confidentiality whether we publish it or not. Please give your name, address and phone number with your submission along with a self-addressed return envelope with sufficient postage. If we do not use your story we will tell you why. Unless you approve it in writing, your identity will not be published.

We ask that you focus on your own authentic experience of life. This carries weight for us.  We have found that proselytizing for faith, philosophy or politics, as well as teaching or selling, sacrifices the personal nature of a story. Hard won personal beliefs, on the other hand, may be quite relevant. Keep these things in mind as you write from your heart.
